Red Rhubarb – Rheum Raponticum
An old heirloom variety with deep red stems and excellent flavour.
Rhubarb is cold tolerant, but will go dormant during Tassie’s cold winters. Heavy feeding during the warmer months, and preferring slightly higher soil pH levels, rhubarb does well in a rich, moist soil in full sun.
